Aftersales Administrator

As a result of strong business growth, we are looking to recruit a Aftersales Administrator to join our team. You should have good communication skills and be a team player who is prepared to go the extra mile for your customers and colleagues.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position which will include some Bank holidays, Weekends and Holiday cover.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Various general administration duties
  • Majority of work will be data entry / inputting tasks
  • Using specialist software and various Microsoft packages ( Excel/ Word)
  • Loading information into various locations as requested
  • Filing paperwork
  • Customer service tasks when needed
  • Writing, sending letters along with organising the daily post
  • Covering the reception desk, taking telephone calls and directing to the correct departments

Requirements

  • Be great at prioritising and working to strict deadlines
  • Have strong attention to detail and understanding of analysing data
  • Have strong excel skills and experience in DMS/software systems
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • IT literate, excellent data entry skills

Parts Apprentice

Here at GT Motorcycles we are currently seeking a Parts Advisor Apprentice to join our dealership. This will be a Full time, Permanent position which includes some weekends.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Ordering parts using on-line systems and telephone
  • Chasing up missing or incorrect parts with suppliers
  • Packaging and returning any unused/unwanted parts
  • Regular communication with mechanics
  • Liaising with customers to let them know when parts have arrived
  • Inbound and outbound telephone calls
  • Advice and guidance of products
  • Working to a high level of customer service at all times and remain courteous and police to customers
  • Stock Checks

Essential

  • A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to deliver the best results
  • A good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers
  • Must be able to multi-task, be hardworking, committed and be able to stay focused
  • Must be computer literate and have good knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel.

Trainee Service Advisor

We are looking for a Trainee Service Advisor to join our ever expanding team here at GT Motorcycles. You will be managing the front reception and dealing with customers to the highest level of customer service. To ensure all customers are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
 

Main Duties and responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for walk in service customers and telephoned in service calls
  • Taking vehicle bookings
  • Giving information on vehicle progress and updates on when the vehicle will be ready to collect/be delivered
  • Calculating when vehicle services are due, by assessing the vehicle age and it’s mileage
  • Checking the manufacturer system for information on vehicle contracts, history and recalls
  • Liaising with the workshop controller and service manager on customer requirements
  • Ensuring your work station is kept clean, tidy and all paperwork is processed and filed away
  • Highlighting special promotions to customers
  • Offer maintenance products and addition items to improve performance or increase the life of their motorcycle
  • Processing cash and credit card transactions accurately & efficiently.
  • Managing the till, taking money from customers and handing out receipts.
  • Attending training sessions.
  • Taking in deliveries and distributing them to the correct departments

Reception & Marketing Assistant

As a result of strong business growth, we are looking to recruit a Reception & Marketing Assistant to join our team. You should have good communication skills and be a team player who is prepared to go the extra mile for your customers and colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be an integral part of the GT Team.

Duties to include:

  • Liaising with the manufacturers for quarterly campaigns and advertising accordingly.
  • Liaising with the organisers of local events, completing applications and advertising our attendance across social media.
  • Maintaining the company website and organising changes in preparation for new quarters and events.
  • Uploading bike descriptions, images onto the company website, Auto trader and any other advertising platform.
  • Transferring vehicles in and out of the trade
  • Creating, printing and laminating flyers, leaflets and posters.
  • Sending out monthly newsletters, e-shots and offers whilst following GDPR rules
  • Resolving all phone and computer issues.
  • Ordering all stationary, keyrings, business cards, POS, leaflets and marketing materials.
  • Receptionist duties including answering the phone, writing letters, post and being face to face with customers.
  • Creating, amending and printing all POS for Legends café, clothing, workshops, sales and parts.
  • Creating a yearly plan for Marketing and organise events in store, offsite and bike evenings to run across the year.

The ideal candidate:

  • Have prior and proven marketing experience working in a related industry either sales or motor trade is essential for this role.
  • Will have good product knowledge of the motorcycle brands we stock.
  • Previous experience with digital marketing and will have experience working with Google Analytics and Social Media channels
  • You will experience working with Photoshop, Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey and Movie Maker.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

About the position

This is a full time, permanent position which includes some weekends and bank holidays.  Final salary awarded to the successful candidate will be negotiable depending on experience.

Sales Executive

We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and talented individual to join our sales team, selling a combination of new and used motorcycles, with a wide range of finance and insurance products.
 
Description:

  • Excellent IT and organisational skills are an essential part of this job role in order to complete the sales paperwork before being passed onto the Sales Manager.
  • Having product knowledge on our brands and models in the showroom, researching the current and new models to be able to discuss all the key features with customers.
  • You will be taking inbound telephone enquiries on a daily basis, checking leads on the system, answering email enquiries, meeting and greeting customers in the showroom and making follow up calls to customers to build a strong relationship.
  • You will communicate with the workshops about new/used bikes coming into the showroom, sending through tasks for parts/accessories to be fitted and to be completed for scheduled dates.
  • You will organise your designated area. Ensuring bikes are kept clean with price tickets attached, catalogues and accessories replenished at all times.
  • You will inform the Marketing Department of any quarterly offers and events, you will take part in social media images/videos and all events on site and off site.
  • You will be required to attend brand training. Both across the country and potentially abroad.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • You must be passionate about motorcycles, have knowledge of the products and the industry.
  • You must be have excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • You will be reliable, hardworking and remain professional and in control when under pressure.
  • A full motorcycle licence.
  • Be a well- presented individual.
  • Previous sales experience within the motor/motorcycle industry preferred.

Salary:
Basic salary, plus commissions and bonus (depending on experience)
 
Type of Role:

This position will be Full Time, Permanent. 40 Hours per week, including bank holidays and some weekends.

Full Time Motorcycle Technician:

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who will be expected to deliver high quality maintenance and repair services.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • You must be able to identify requirements for specific parts, materials or tools and communicate these requests to the appropriate person.
  • As a fully qualified motorcycle technician, you will be responsible for meeting the overall performance standards of the service operation of the dealership including the preparation of new and used bikes for customer delivery, along with undertaking routine servicing, repairs and MOT work that meet or exceed each individual customer’s expectations
  • You will ensure that each and every job allocated to you is undertaken and completed to the very highest standard.
  • Required from time to time to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly as well as provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.
  • You must be able to communicate with other members of the workshops and parts team to ensure all servicing and repair work is completed correctly.
  • All professional service equipment will be provided but the successful applicant should possess their own hand tools

Skills and Experience Required:

We are looking for a fully qualified motorcycle technician. Franchise dealer experience would be an advantage but not essential.

Type of Role:

This is a full time, permanent role working to a rota that includes Saturdays.

Salary:

Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

Weekend Clothing Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a clothing Assistant to join our growing business, this will include weekend, sickness and holiday cover.
 
Key Responsibilities will include customer service, product knowledge, replenishing stock, merchandising and cleaning.
 
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and have excellent communication skills. Preferably with retail experience and with an interest in motorcycles, but not essential.
