Sales Executive

GT Motorcycles are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and talented individual to join our sales team, selling a combination of new and used motorcycles, with a wide range of finance and insurance products.


  • Excellent IT and organisational skills are an essential part of this job role in order to complete the sales paperwork before being passed onto the Sales Manager.
  • Having product knowledge on our brands and models in the showroom, researching the current and new models to be able to discuss all the key features with customers.
  • You will be taking inbound telephone enquiries on a daily basis, checking leads on the system, answering email enquiries, meeting and greeting customers in the showroom and making follow up calls to customers to build a strong relationship.
  • You will communicate with the workshops about new/used bikes coming into the showroom, sending through tasks for parts/accessories to be fitted and to be completed for scheduled dates.
  • You will organise your designated area. Ensuring bikes are kept clean with price tickets attached, catalogues and accessories replenished at all times.
  • You will inform the Marketing Department of any quarterly offers and events, you will take part in social media images/videos and all events on site and off site.
  • You will be required to attend brand training.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • You must be passionate about motorcycles, have knowledge of the products and the industry.
  • You must be have excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • You will be reliable, hardworking and remain professional and in control when under pressure.
  • A full motorcycle licence.
  • Be a well- presented individual.
  • Previous sales experience within the motor/motorcycle industry preferred.

Salary: Basic salary (£18k) plus commission This position will be Full Time, Permanent. 40 Hours per week, including bank holidays and some weekends. Company Benefits:

Sales & Service Administrator/Receptionist

Job Description

As a multi franchised dealer for Ducati, Scrambler, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha and due to increasing demand we're looking for a Sales & Service Administrator/Receptionist to join our successful team. Working in a team environment you will be responsible for providing a top quality service to our customers with duties including:

  • Communicating with the workshop technicians and customers to ascertain the level of work required and gain authorisation.
  • Booking customers motorcycles in for service, MOT and maintenance jobs.
  • Selling relevant products and services as well as making customer bookings.
  • Making the customers experience as enjoyable as possible, whilst providing the very highest level of customer service.
  • Answering Phone and forwarding calls to relevant  internal departments - communicating job status to customer.
  • Follow up with every customer in terms of work in progress and on completion of work.
  • Providing administrative support internally to our sales team.


The ability to work as part of a small dedicated team with the aim of delivering outstanding customer service is essential. Excellent phone manner and flexibility to apply yourself to a variety of roles daily is a must and if you’re able to demonstrate initiative and a positive attitude, while working to tight deadlines we’re looking for you.

The ideal applicant will be highly organised, conscientious, personable, able to plan and prioritise their work and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Previous Experience in the Motor Trade Preferred and love of Motorcycles a definite plus!

Experienced Parts Advisor & Apprentice/Trainee Parts Advisor

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join the team in our premium multi-franchised dealership as a Motorcycle Parts Advisor. Working with successful and exciting motorcycle brands we are looking for a high quality candidate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a very successful motorcycle business.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Organising all data capture to ensure that customers are communicated with effectively and every opportunity for selling and promoting the activity of the Parts department is fully maximised.
  • Making sure that Parts Aftersales scores reflect the expectations of the business and manufacturer.
  • Developing and maximising every opportunity for the sale of parts & accessories.
  • Ensuring the correct and efficient supply of parts to the workshop as and when required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record as a Parts Advisor from either the motorcycle or automotive industries and a good technical understanding of motorcycles.

The ideal candidate for the Apprentice position will have bags of enthusiasm, good computer skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to succeed in the industry.


  • A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to deliver results.
  • A good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers.
  • A full motorcycle and driving licence.
