Gold Star Named Retro Bike Of The Year At Coveted MCN Awards

The new Gold Star from BSA Motorcycles has been named ‘Retro Bike of the Year 2023’ by MCN (Motorcycle News), the biggest motorcycle publication in the UK.
The award comes just months after the brand announced expansion across Europe with the Gold Star now available in France and Luxembourg. The award recognises the impact of BSA’s reimagined classic model just a couple of years since it was relaunched to the UK market.
MCN’s yearly awards encompass 13 categories, paying homage to various aspects of the motorcycling world. Winners are voted for by a specialist panel of experts, comprised of seasoned journalists and motorcycle aficionados. Their assessment encompasses factors such as sales trajectory, reader and customer feedback, design finesse, technical ingenuity, and comprehensive performance, culminating in the selection of an ultimate victor within each category.

The Gold Star model, a tribute to BSA’s rich heritage, has captivated the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts with its blend of classic aesthetics and contemporary performance. As winner of the MCN Retro Bike of the Year 2023, it stands proudly alongside illustrious past recipients, including the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Kawasaki Z900RS.
