Accessories For The New 2008 Kawasaki Models

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

As well as launching their 2008 motorcycles at the Paris Show last weekend, Kawasaki has also shown, for the first time, accessories which will be available for these models.

Kawasaki Ninja 250
For a 250 four-stroke the Ninja 250 looks pretty special in standard trim. There’s not much else like this bike out there on the roads currently, so it should be a massive hit with younger bikers looking to make a step-up from scooters.

And Kawasaki is offering customers some really nice bits to touch up the motorcycle. Most of all this Hassert-Beet MotoGP-style can that looks much better than the OE fitment.

You can also get a matching seat cowl, a taller screen, crash bungs and these very nifty little indicator replacements.

Kawasaki ZX-10R
Subtle yet useful add-ons are the way forward for the Kawasaki ZX-10R.

A new styled crash protector is more in-keeping with the look rather than sticking-out round bungs.

A taller screen will be very popular amongst those looking to do big miles and the matching hugger rather than the large matt OE one does add a little to the already aggressive ZX-10R’s presence.

Paris Show ‘07: 2008 Honda CBF600 And CBF600S Official Launch News And Images

Monday, October 1st, 2007

Honda has chosen the first day of the 2007 Paris Motorcycle Show to unveil the Hornet-derived 2008 Honda CBF600 and 2008 Honda CBF600S.

The two machines were unveiled alongside the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR FireBlade and 2008 Honda XL700V Transalp.

Although the styling of the unfaired 2008 Honda CBF600, and the faired 2008 Honda CBF600S stays fairly close to the original motorcycles launched in 2004, almost everything is new. The engine is taken from the Honda CBR600RR and CB600F Hornet; which is lighter, smaller, and tuned for stronger low and mid-range.

The Honda Hornet was also the inspiration for the chassis; as the innovative cast aluminium Mono-backbone frame has been adapted to the more relaxed riding position of the 2008 Honda CBF600 and CBF600S.

The half-faired 2008 Honda CBF600S gets a sleeker and lighter front fairing; both motorcycles get a larger 20-litre fuel tank, shorter gear ratios to aid acceleration, smoother and narrower seats, and a new combined-ABS version with three-piston front brake calipers.

The 2008 Honda CBF600 is available in Pearl Nightstar Black, Pearl Sienna Red, or Quasar Silver Metallic. The 2008 Honda CBF600S comes in Pearl Nightstar Black, Pearl Sienna Red, Quasar Silver Metallic, and also Dolphin Grey Metallic.

The other Honda 2008 motorcycles launched at the same event were the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR FireBlade, and the 2008 Honda XL700V Transalp.
