Doble Celebrates 40 Years of Honda
One of Honda UK’s longest-serving dealers, Doble Motorcycles of Coulsdon, Surrey, is to celebrate its 40th anniversary in style next weekend (September 8-9) with a family open weekend.
Doble has teamed up with local radio station, Mercury FM, to stage ‘Scooter Scrambles’ in which visitors can test their mettle against some of Honda’s top motorcycle racers, such as British Superbike stars Jonathon Rea and Ian Hutchinson.
On the Saturday, British Superbike commentator, Fred Clarke, will be master of ceremonies and commentating on the scooter race live on Mercury FM.
Honda’s famous ‘Big Rig’, its 10 metre outside event support truck, will be at Doble Motorcycles throughout the weekend with an array of current models and Honda’s clever riding simulator.
Doble Motorcycles reckon they will have one of every model in the current Honda line-up available for demonstration rides over the weekend and there’ll be other companies like Arai and Shoei helmets offering help and advice.
With face-painting and a bouncy castle for the kids, plus a barbeque and refreshments all day long, there’ll be something for everyone at the Doble Motorcycles Open Weekend on September 8-9 at 86-90 and 103 Brighton Road, Coulsdon in Surrey.
